Appointments
An
appointment in our schedule is a bond of trust that we will be here
to serve you and you will be present for treatment. We do our best
to respect your time and request that you grant us the same courtesy.
We take pride in the fact that we offer a very personal and caring
environment, not a clinical atmosphere. We do not double book our
patients. Therefore, office policy regarding appointments is as
follows: If a patient fails to notify our office within 24 hours
of their scheduled appointment to cancel this appointment, there
will be a $75.00 (per hour of appointed time) charged to that patient's
account. Broken appointments waste staff time, but more importantly
prevent others from utilizing the time.
We do try to confirm
our patient's appointments by email or telephone and even a postcard
for prescheduled recare visits. Let us know the best way to contact
you. We do though rely on our patients to remember the appointment
time they make with us.
To Our New Patients:
Your
initial comprehensive visit will include an oral cancer check, periodontal
evaluation, cavity screening, TMD screening and necessary digital
radiographs. Dr. Barbaro will utilize a full series and panorex
to complete his radiographic exam. Oral-facial images and diagnostic
molds of your teeth may be taken as well. You are welcome to bring
recent radiographs of good diagnostic quality. This appointment
is scheduled for approximately two hours to complete this comprehensive
new patient examination. A second appointment will be scheduled
for about one hour in which together, you and Dr. Barbaro will develop
a personal dental treatment sequence. Our business manager will
also be available to answer any financial concerns and help with
scheduling appointments.
